Some of you have seen firsthand how helpful a scholarship (or multiple scholarships) can be to a student's and parents' budget. Students should start early, research and apply for as many scholarships as they qualify for.
Here is one from Tylenol that I came across. This scholarship helps students getting a healthcare-related education manage the rising costs of education. This year, they will be awarding $250,000 in scholarships to forty students based on leadership qualities and performance. They encourage any student who is pursuing a career in healthcare to apply.

I would HIGHLY encourage students to apply for any and every scholarship (even the small ones) that they qualify for. I managed to come out of two years of school at a liberal arts college with less than $10K in debt (yearly costs over $25K)thanks to the many scholarships I received!
